A Spriggan was a type of faerie in Cornish folklore who would gaurd old ruins.
Similarities to Slender Man[]
The Spriggan would kidnap children, and like in some accounts in the original mythos, could grow taller than it's original size.
Unlike Slenderman, the Spriggan has a face, and is usually described as very ugly in appearance.
